Education:
Cand.scient.anth and Ph.d. from Department of Communication and Psychology at Aalborg University. My dissertation was a part of the research project “Diagnosis Culture”, that examined the historical development of psychiatric diagnoses and the experiences of the individuals regarding being diagnosed. The dissertation has the title “Experiences of depression: Diagnosis, Resistance and out-of-tune embodiment” and offers an insight into the everyday life with depression as well as experiences of being diagnosed depressed.
Field of work:
I am a research assistant on the research project “The Good Transition” on young people moving out, including how we can get better at supporting the good transition to adulthood.
